In May 2010 I began my first internship with the fashion brand Mongrels in Common. 
During this time I got insight into the business process of a fashion company and improved upon the knowledge I had acquired thus far. I got the chance to demonstrate my skills in pattern making and sewing. I was in charge of blouses and dresses for the SS 2011 Collection as well as preparation for the runway show.
After graduation in August 2011 I started as design assistant and worked close with the head designers on inspiration and concept research for the SS 2013 Collection.
My area of responsibility expanded and included the development of coats, jackets and pants from fitting- to final sample. Additionally I prepared pattern cards, tech packs and cutter’s musts for the production process.
